Children, Young People and Family Services Team Lead
Westcliff based SOS Domestic Abuse Projects is looking to recruit additional staff to its services for victims of domestic abuse in the borough of Southend.
We are seeking an exceptional candidate to fill the role of Children, Young People and Family Services Team Lead. You will be an integral part of the team and will be responsible for the line management of three practitioners delivering front line services to children who have been affected by domestic abuse. You will supervise and staff in conjunction with the Operations Manager, contribute to the delivery of our services and contribute to the evaluation of our work.
You will have excellent communication skills, previous experience of line management within social work or working with children, young people and families, as well as a drive and passion for improving outcomes for children and families. You will be motivated by improving the quality of the work provided by the team, have experience of delivering high quality, reflective supervision and expertise in the field of safeguarding.
As Team Lead, you will report to the Operations Manager.
The post holder will be based in Westcliff and at other local sites within the Southend borough.
Salary: Further information upon request, but subject to qualifications and relevant experience – £28,000-£30,000 FTE (pro rata)
Hours: 30 hours per week (based on 37.5 hours per week pro rata)
Annual leave: Commencing at 25 days per annum (pro rata)
