Coach Trip to Brogdale Farm (SEEOG) Start: 00:00 Saturday 10 July - pick-up time to be advised DETAILS OF EVENT Visit by coach to Brogdale Farm, Faversham, Kent for the Cherry Festival. Brogdale Farm is the national centre for fruit, set in beautiful orchards in the Garden of England and is a Kent Tourist attraction. They celebrate the diversity of fruit in all its forms and its wide range of uses. There are more varieties of fruit on Brogdale Farm than in any other collection in the world and this worldwide heritage of fruit is available for us to enjoy now and to ensure that they are also around for future generations. At the Festival visitors will be able to taste cherries before they buy as well as the usual visits to the orchards, etc. Non-members £12, which does not include admission. Fun for all the family: bouncy castle, lots of games, BBQ, refreshments, food and stalls, raffle, etc. plus a programme of entertainment including school choirs, demonstration dancing and African drumming. Entrance is free - everyone welcome.
