Following the success of previous ‘drop-in’ police surgeries, further monthly sessions are planned at Leigh Library throughout 2010. These will take place in the ground floor of the branch library in Broadway West on Tuesdays, starting either at 10am or 3pm and running for 90 minutes. The Leigh Library police surgeries will be provide the opportunity for local residents to meet locally-based Neighbourhood Specialist Officer, Pc 970 Leon Pezzuolo. Start: 14:00

At Southend Central Library: Ground Floor Meetings Room. DIAL-Southend (Disability Information Advice Line) supports disabled people, their families and carers. The local group is holding a further series of monthly drop-in sessions at Southend Library to offer information and advice on a wide range of subjects including: benefits, housing, debt, employment, holidays, equipment, social care and much, much more. The sessions during 2010 will be on: Wednesday 11th August (10.00 - 3.00pm); Wednesday 8th September (10.00 - 3.00pm); Wednesday 13th October (10.00 - 3.00pm). | ||
