The next meeting of the South East Essex Epilepsy Support Group (Southend based) will take place on Monday 12th December 2011 at the Naval & Military Club, Royal Terrace, Southend-on-Sea from 7.30pm. There is no cost involved and anyone with an interest in Epilepsy is welcome to attend.The meeting provides an opportunity for local epilepsy sufferers, family and friends to chat and share experiences. This is a well established support group registered with the Southend Association Voluntary Services (SAVS) set up to help people deal and understand the impacts of epilepsy and its related issues. In addition to discussing general epilepsy issues (including an update on the current Epilepsy specialist nurse vacancy at the Southend University Hospital Neurology Department) this month's meeting will be a relaxed affair with a few pre-xmas nibbles as an early start to the festive season.
