Thursday 3rd December is International Day of Persons with Disabilities, which is marked annually in many countries around the world. Several organisations working for people with disabilities in the Borough of Southend-on-Sea will be providing information about the services they offer.
SAVS Community Forums Development Officer, Jonathan Crowe, said: “We hope this event gives people an opportunity to find out more about the many and varied services on offer to disabled people throughout the Borough”. He added “We would also like to raise awareness of the gains for everybody if disabled people are included in all aspects of local life”
The event is open to the public, admission is free, and SAVS Centre is easily accessible, with local parking and lift access to the exhibition room.
