Safer and Stronger Communities Forum
This Forum will link to the Safer and Stronger Communities Board. The Board is currently split into the Safer Communities Board and the Stronger Communities Board.
The Safer Communities Board discusses issues around community safety and is responsible for these performance targets to Southend Together Executive. Other topics have included the Youth Offending Service and DAAT reports as well as the Domestic Abuse Strategy and agreeing CDRP budgets.
The Stronger Communities Board discuss issues around community cohesion and engagement as well as volunteering, voluntary and community sector issues and is also responsible for some environmental targets to Southend Together Executive. The Board received a report on Community Voices and workshops were organised around stronger communities and community cohesion.
