The Health & Wellbeing Forum is one of the new forums created at SAVS during June 2010. This Forum will provide Representatives that sit on the Southend Together and Health and Wellbeing Boards.

The Forums will discuss issues raised at the Health and Wellbeing Board enabling the Representative to give the views of the voluntary and community sector (VCS) at the Board meetings.

The Health and Wellbeing Partnership Board is responsible to Southend Together Executive for targets around health and social wellbeing. Recent discussions include the National Dementia Strategy Implementation, the Joint Adult Mental Health Strategy, The Care of the Elderly Review, Transforming Social Care and updates from the Learning Disability Partnership Board.

The next meetings will be on 13th October 2010 and 9th February 2011 from 10am until 12pm at SAVS. An invitation and relevant documents will be sent out and will be attached below when prepared.
