Third Sector Voice - The Forum of the Future

The Third Sector Voice has been established to be more responsive to the fluctuating demands of partnership working and also to give a sustainable model which will ensure the voluntary and community sector have a voice into the future.

Join Third Sector Voice by following the link to the left now or complete the form below now.

Third Sector Voice will be made up of 2 components, the Panel and the Assembly.

    Panel
  • This is a register of people and organisations who have expressed an area of interest (forming a database). This database will be used for invitations to Assembly meetings, engagement events and information sharing.
  • On occasion partners will approach the Third Sector Voice and ask for Panel members to meet to discuss particular topics, this may be to inform partners or to take part in a consultation on policy or strategy. Panel members will be invited to attend meetings based on their expressions of interest.
  • New and social media as well as traditional methods will be explored to ensure that groups are engaged and informed in a timely and effective way.
  • Representative Panel members may be invited to take part in partnership meetings; these representatives will be selected from the Panel according to their registered expression of interest.  Representatives will be asked to feedback to the Third Sector Voice.

    Assembly
  • Assembly meetings will be held 3 times a year, the meeting will bring together everyone that has registered an interest in attending. These will be extended meetings with speakers, workshops information sharing and networking opportunities.
  • Statutory partners are welcome to attend Assembly meetings but will not be eligible to be part of the Panel

Partners
Partner organisations are encouraged to make use of the skills and expertise of Panel members, all of whom have expressed an eagreness to work in partnership to achieve benefits for the residents of Southend on Sea.  The Panel provides an opportunity for partners to approach the Voluntary and Community sector through the Third Sector Voice and ask Panel members to engage in particular topics.  If you wish to work with the Panel please contact us at the address below.
