Description
Southend and District Pensioners Campaign is a very sociable group running a monthly meeting in a very accessible locality in the centre of the town. We were established in 1985 and we always have a talk from guest speakers on a variety of subjects. Examples are "The work of the Citizens Advice" and "Things you didn't know about London"
We are committed to the welfare of our members by keeping them informed of their rights by a monthly topical information digest which also highlights activities in the community. We act as a valuable information source for older people and alleviating loneliness is a primary objective
