Description

Southend's immensely popular and forward looking brass band has a rich tradition, dating back over a century.

Since 1985, Southend Band has boasted the sobriquet, "Official Town Band".

Under the leadership of David Clark, Southend Band rehearse at St Peter's Church Youth Hall, on the corner of Eastbourne Grove and Carlingford Drive (quite near the hospital), every Thursday evening at 7.45 pm. Disabled access to the band hall is good.
