May I also just give a gentle reminder 😊 One of the reasons that the newsletter is a little late is that I have been receiving a very high volume of emails requesting help for benefit issue resolutions.

Of course, this is completely ok as this forms a large part of my role and I am fully committed to supporting you all to make life better financially for our customers. As those of you who have ever been on an awareness session will know, that is my (our) utmost priority.

Can I please just remind you, that your Business as Usual routes should always be attempted in the first instance and when these have not produced a resolution, then you are most welcome to send your issues to me.
(Landlords who wish to cease an APA or Third Party Deduction for rent have no option but to come to me in the first instance, as there is no facility on the portal to request this.)

I do hope you understand that this is purely in order that the most urgent cases are dealt with quickly.

I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible on the future awareness sessions advertised in the newsletter. Have a lovely [rest of] September.

Kind regards, Adele James (She/Her) | Partnership Manager | Department for Work and Pensions
