easyfundraising – How It Works

Published on: August 29, 2023

Did you know your volunteers, staff members, and the local community can help your voluntary organisation raise free unrestricted funding whenever they shop online, through online fundraising platform easyfundraising?

Here’s how it works:

Imagine volunteer Sarah wants to buy a birthday present for her friend. Instead of directly visiting the M&S website, Sarah first goes to easyfundraising’s website and then clicks on the M&S link.

easyfundraising will redirect Sarah to the M&S website, where she can browse and make a purchase just as she normally would. The fantastic part is that since Sarah started her shopping journey at easyfundraising, her community group will receive 3% of her spending directly from M&S without any additional cost to her.

easyfundraising has an extensive list of participating partners, including popular brands like eBay, Just Eat, John Lewis, Etsy, Screwfix, Argos, Waitrose, Moonpig, Sainsbury’s, and over 7,500 more. This means that no matter what your supporters purchase, there’s an opportunity for free funding available.

As we approach the peak shopping season, especially when times are difficult and asking for financial donations is hard, registering with easyfundraising will allow your community to keep supporting your organisation in a simple and cost-free way.

Get started in three easy steps:

  1. Sign your organisation up here: https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/southend/
  2. As you go through the registration process book a call with a fundraising expert. It’s free, and you’ll get lots of advice on making easyfundraising work for your organisation.
  3. Let your volunteers and local community know how they can support you. Use the ready written emails, social posts and newsletters easyfundraising provide to get the message out quickly and easily.

Happy fundraising!
