The Community Research Team leads research projects right here in your local community.

NIHR is the research arm of the NHS.

Be part of research is a big drive currently, so we want to explain what it’s all about and what your networks need to understand and how they can get involved.

There’s a big push right now to get more people involved in research, so we want to explain what it means, why it matters, and how your community can get involved.
If local people aren’t part of the research that helps shape the NHS and the care it provides, some groups might miss out or not get the treatments that work best for them. That’s why it’s so important for people—especially from diverse backgrounds—to take part in research when they can
