Please note, only for ages 7 to 12 years. Join us for our next block of Children’s Art Club where we will be exploring sculpture!
We will be led by artist Hazel Sankey in this block of workshops where we will explore the themes of home, roots, and identity through sculpture.
Using chicken wire, Mod Roc, and mixed media materials, each participant will create an individual branch that represents their own ideas, memories, and personal story. Although each branch will stand as its own artwork, all pieces will come together to form one large collaborative sculpture as part of the next S for Southend community exhibition at Focal Point Gallery. This project celebrates individuality while showing how we are all connected as part of a wider community.
No experience is needed and new members are always welcome!
