Join SAVS & Essex Police for this training workshop which focuses on the biggest driver of modern slavery in Southend and Essex, County Lines and Cuckooing.

We would like to invite you to a workshop to raise awareness of County Lines and Cuckooing. The session will be delivered by Jennie Read from Essex Police and cover various topics across the 2 hours. You will learn:

  • What cuckooing is and how it happens
  • What County Lines means and how it’s affecting communities across Southend and Essex
  • How gangs are operating and recruiting young people
  • What support is available for victims, and how are prosecutions made
  • Which signs to look for and how to make a report
