Please join us, Brook and the Hepatitis C Trust for this online training session. This session is a bite-sized introduction and aims to educate people working in the VCFSE sector, residents and other professionals.

Brook is commissioned to provide an all-age sexual health promotion and community HIV prevention service to reduce HIV and STI prevalence, lower transmission rates and incidence of late HIV diagnosis and reduce rates of under-18 conception in Southend on Sea.

The training session aims to:

• Define HIV, AIDs and PrEP
• Explore Southend data
• Explore the stigma attached to PrEP and HIV
• Identify barriers, who they may impact and how we can overcome them
• Provide local and national signposting information
• Overview of testing options
• Treatment overview of HCV
• Overview of the “Follow Me” peer-to-peer program.
