Meet a member of the Community Programmes Team from Postcode Places Trust to find out more about their 2026 funding offer and application process.

Funded by Players of People’s Postcode Lottery, the Trust offers funding of up to £50k over three years to Registered Charities, CICs, and Charitable Community Benefit Societies with an income below £1m. We look to fund organisations whose primary purpose meets one of the following themes:

  • Enabling participation in the arts
  • Preventing or reducing the impact of poverty
  • Supporting marginalised groups and/or tackling inequality
  • Improving mental health

There are three funding rounds throughout the year, and this session aims to provide further detail on our application requirements, including key information on governance and financial requirements, so that you are ready to submit the strongest application possible.

In addition to providing insight into this main funding programme, we will discuss the additional partnerships funded by the Trust to provide grants to smaller organisations, community groups, and specialist thematic areas. These include:

  • Groundwork’s Grassroots Grants
  • The Wildlife Trusts Green Community Grants
  • Sported’s Community Grants
  • Learning Through Landscapes – Local School Nature Grants

Suitable for: Registered Charities, Community Interest Companies, Community Benefit Societies, Constituted Community Groups, and to a lesser extent, schools and nurseries (only eligible for Learning Through Landscapes funding)
