Eco Days, part of the local mental health charity Trust Links, is excited to announce the launch of Milton Community Workshops. They will be working with Milton Community Partnership to deliver a new programme of free, environmentally focused workshops beginning in February 2026.
Thanks to an incredible £20,000 funding from The National Lottery Community Fund, Eco Days is able to deliver 50 FREE creative sessions across 2026 and 2027 designed to bring people together while promoting sustainable living at the heart of Southend.
This is building on the success of a similar project that was run in in 2024/2025.
Hosted at St Marks Church, Hamlet Road, Southend SS1 1HY, the workshops will offer a diverse range of environmentally conscious activities, including:
- Jam making
- Crafting natural cleaning products
- Eco-friendly home and lifestyle skills
- Creative community projects
- And more throughout 2026 and into 2027
The sessions will be run weekly, with alternating morning, afternoon and evening sessions.
The Milton Community Workshops aim to strengthen community connections, support wellbeing, and empower local residents with practical, sustainable skills. There will also be a light meal before or after the sessions.
