For 18 years, East 15’s BA Acting and Community Engagement students have delighted the people of Southend with Pandemonium, a free street festival. Starting and ending with a high energy, colourful samba procession, Pandemonium 2025 will consist of various creative circus acts in Warrior Square, lively comedic street theatre performances along the High Street, and wonderful walkabout characters engaging with audiences of all ages.
East 15 Acting School is one of the top drama schools in London and the Southeast. For more than 60 years, East 15 has trained many successful performers including Maisie Adam (8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown); Blake Harrison (The Inbetweeners); and Alison Steadman (Gavin and Stacey). The BA Acting and Community Engagement course is committed to creating theatre that is engaging and accessible to all, working with the Southend community on multiple performance and facilitation projects. Pandemonium plays a key role in cementing the course’s relationship with Southend and uniting the local community.
