Post: Housing Concierge

Salary: £15,600 pro rata (Actual salary £6,240 per year)    Hours: 15 hours a week on a rota basis including evenings and weekends

Contract Type: Permanent      Location: Southend

Job Summary: We believe in providing a safe and secure environment for people to improve their mental health and develop the skills required to live independent and fulfilling lives. we are seeking additional staff to build our existing team.
Conciegre workers are based at our secure site and are responsible for the safety and securing of the site and offering support and advice outside of planned support hours to our tenants from across our housing provision. monitoring and control of access to the site. Patrolling the environment, reporting and recording incidents. Risk assessing the tenants and calling emergency services/on call when necessary. The work will include some cleaning and maintenance duties. montiring of on call telephone service for community houses.
Keeping accurate records for safeguarding issues that might arise and reporting all incidents to management and or authorities as appropriate.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:
Two years’ experience of supporting/working with mental health problems people and/or with substance misuse . Experience or knowledge of a computer based security system or equivalent. Experience of managing challenging behaviour.
Experience of using email such as Microsoft Outlook

Skills and Knowledge:
Good standard of written English language.
Basic IT skills in word processing

Post: Housing Support Worker

Salary: £17,062.50 per annum pro rata ( Actual salary: £6,825 per annum)   Hours: Two posts both 15 hours on a rota basis mostly evenings and weekends.

Contract Type: Permanent   Location: Southend

Job Summary: We believe in providing a safe and secure environment for people to improve their mental health and develop the skills required to live independent and fulfilling lives. We are seeking additional staff to build our existing team.
Our support workers are an essential part of a team offering planned and emergency support to people at our secure site and across our community provision.
You will be working as part of a team delivering empowering and recovery focused activity consistent with an individual support plans to ensure the safety and security of all houses within the portfolio and to support housing tenants to secure independent living skills and practices that improve their mental health as well as developing sustainable tenancy skills .

Essential Qualifications and Experience:
Level 2 in Health and Social Care and/or relevant experience
At least 2 years’ experience of working with people who have experienced a mental health problem and housing related support.

Skills and Knowledge:
An awareness and understanding of issues related to mental health and mental health problems.

Post: Night Security

Salary: £16,575 per annum pro rata (Actual salary Post 1:£10,608 & Post 2: £15,912).   Hours: Post 1: 24 hours per week ( 2 nights), Post 2: 36 hours per week ( 3 nights)

Our night security staff are based at our secure site and are responsible for the safety and security of the site and offering support and advice in case of emergency in the night to our tenants across our housing provision
To ensure the safety and security of the tenants at our supported accommodation site and acting in an advisory capacity via the telephone to tenants in our community housing projects. Monitoring and control of access to the site. Reporting and recording incidents. Risk assessment of the tenants on an on-going basis. Incident management and reporting. Cleaning duties.
To keep accurate computerised records for safeguarding issues that might arise and reporting all incidents including written records and reporting to management and authorities as appropriate

Essential Qualifications and Experience:
Level 2/GCSE or equivalent in English
Two years’ experience of working/supporting with people with mental health problems and substance misuse issues.
Experience or knowledge of a Paxton computer based security system or equivalent.
Experience of managing challenging behaviour.
Awareness of lone working risks and ability to safeguard against them.
Experience of using email such as Microsoft Outlook

Skills and Knowledge:
Good standard of written English language.
Basic IT skills in word processing
