Fond Farewell to Parent Champion Project

Friday 14th March saw our 8th year A Better Start Southend Parent Champion Project here at SAVS come to its finale, with a fantastic workshop delivered by Psychologist, Dr Chancy Marsh.
The local parents, who use their ‘parent voice’ as part of a unique project have worked with SAVS and our partners to help make decisions and promote community projects, all working together to make Southend a better place to raise a family.
The session helped them to reflect on their journey and hard work, looking at what they have learnt about themselves and their community and what they will take forward into this new phase in their lives.
