Type of Fund: National

About this Funding:

Sea-Changers has launched the 2026 Coastal Fountain Fund. The fund aims to reduce the impact of single-use plastic water bottles on coastal habitats by helping communities buy and install public drinking fountains. These fountains should be placed in busy locations or areas of environmental importance.

Now in its sixth year, the fund offers grants of up to £2,500 to support the purchase and installation of new public fountains. So far, the initiative has funded 40 fountains across the UK. A total of £20,000 is available in this funding round.

Not-for-profit organisations and councils may apply if they have identified a local need and can show that relevant stakeholders support the project. The application deadline is 28 February 2026.

Applicants should review the eligibility and evaluation criteria on the Sea-Changers website and then complete the application form. Completed submissions should be sent to info@sea-changers.org.uk.
