About this Funding:
Southend Emergency Fund is pleased to announce the launch of the new Life Skills, Food and Budgeting Fund.
Funding is available up to £2,000 per organisation to support people to learn new skills (including cooking skills), to manage their budgets and improve their food security with the aim of making people feel more empowered.
What can be funded?
· Equipment such as slow cookers and air fryers (for individuals) and fridge-freezers (for organisations)
· Cost of materials, ingredients or resources used as part of the project
· Training provider costs
*Any food-related training needs to be compliant UK Hygiene legislation
