Inequalities Local Outreach Project

  • Do you have a long-term physical health condition, such as diabetes, asthma or sickle cell? And are you from an ethnic minority background?
  • The Care Quality Commission (CQC) wants to find out about your experiences of care and treatment for your condition, at your GP surgery or hospital.
  • CQC is the regulatory of health and social care services in England, but we don’t always hear enough from the people who use services.
  • In particular, we don’t always hear enough from people from ethnic minority backgrounds, to find out if their experiences of health care are good or bad
  • We are currently focussing on finding out more about care and treatment for long-term conditions – other examples of this could be arthritis, high blood pressure or epilepsy.
  • If you would like to share your experience, please contact Charlotte at Charlotte.Fernandes@cqc.org.uk or call 07384902567
