Safe Steps are looking to recruit additional staff to its services for survivors of domestic abuse in the borough of Southend and Essex.
We are seeking an exceptional woman to fill the role of Children, Young People and Family Services Team Manager. You will be an integral part of the senior team and will be responsible for leading the delivery of the service. You will be responsible for the line management of six highly motivated practitioners delivering front line services to children, young people and their families who have been affected by domestic abuse. You will work closely with our Operations Manager and contribute to the evaluation and development of our work.
You will have excellent communication skills, previous experience of line management within the domestic violence sector, social work, or working with children, young people and families. As well as a drive and passion for improving outcomes for all survivors of domestic violence, you will have the ability to lead a team and motivate the team to continually to improve and refine services. You will have experience of delivering high quality, reflective supervision and expertise in the field of safeguarding and women’s services. You will have a solid understanding of the Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) agenda and take an intersectional approach to problem solving.
As Team Manager, you will report to the Operations Manager.
Salary: Further information upon request, but subject to qualifications and relevant experience – £30,507-£34,788
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Annual leave: Commencing at 25 days per annum (pro rata)
