Children, Young People’s and Families’ Caseworker – Full Time (Term time only – 39 weeks per year)

Westcliff based Safe Steps is looking for an experienced domestic abuse practitioner to work as part of our Fledgling’s Children, Young People and Families’ team during the school term.

Working with Children and troubled families, the ideal candidate will need to be highly motivated and committed to making a difference to the lives of children affected by domestic abuse, and to ensure positive outcomes for them and their families through therapeutic programmes and ongoing support and advocacy.

Relevant experience of working with children and parents is essential, as well as knowledge of and working with, other local agencies and services. Monitoring and evaluation of service delivery is key in line with the funding requirements for the post.

Salary: NICVA 2018 Scale 5-6 (pro rata)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (term time only)

Annual leave: Commencing at 25 days per annum pro rata
