SAVS achieves the Local Infrastructure Quality Accreditation (LIQA)
Published on: November 7, 2024
SAVS are delighted to inform you that we have recently achieved the Local Infrastructure Quality Accreditation (LIQA), demonstrating the quality of our offer and impact in supporting local voluntary, community and social enterprises across Southend.
Accreditation is awarded for three years, and is provided following independent assessment of a portfolio of evidence provided against a set of criteria based around the Four Functions of Infrastructure:

In achieving the LIQA, SAVS has demonstrated it delivers each of these functions to a high quality standard, that it is responsive to, and embedded within the needs of the local voluntary, community and social enterprise sector, and is committed to working in partnership.
The LIQA is a quality mark that provides confidence to local communities, voluntary and community organisations and local strategic partners, funders and commissioners. The accreditation process also provides opportunities to gain invaluable insights into organisational strengths and areas for development. As a member of NAVCA, SAVS will continue to benefit from being engaged in a network of peer support offering opportunities for continuous learning and development.
