Are you passionate about making a change and partnering towards a slavery-free community? If so, this job could be for you! The Southend Against Modern Slavery (SAMS) Partnership are looking for an Antislavery Coordinator. The partnerships catalyses community responses through awareness raising, training and survivor care.

The Antislavery Coordinator will collaborate with partner organisations in order to:

  1. Stimulate multi-agency partnership work across partner organisations, including charities, community groups, education statutory and statutory organisations.
  2. Raise awareness through coordinating community engagement, awareness activities and conferences.
  3. Coordinate a team of volunteer trainers to co-deliver training and awareness workshops to partners, community stakeholders, front-line responders and those who are vulnerable to modern slavery.

The role would suit someone who is passionate about developing multi-agency partnerships and mobilising local communities to collaborate towards slavery-free communities. The role is for a fixed term of 12 months and will continue beyond subject to funding. Hours are flexible with both office (Southend) and home-based working.
