Refuge Family Support Worker

As part of a team, the role of Refuge Family Support Worker is to offer practical and emotional support to children and young people who have experienced domestic abuse.  This support is offered during their time in refuge, through the transition from refuge to their own home and into a community support provision.  To develop the play capabilities of all children living in the refuge according to their development.  To work with the resident parent and other agencies to meet the needs and concerns of children who have experienced domestic abuse.

Salary:                 Further information upon request, but subject to qualifications and relevant experience- circa £20,500-£22,000 (pro rata)

Hours:                  22.5 hours per week (pro rata)

Annual leave:   Commencing at 25 days per annum (pro rata)
