Talented Southend City College Students Showcase Southend Volunteer Awards

SAVS are thrilled to recognise three Southend City College Student on their work promoting and supporting the first inaugural Southend Volunteer Awards, which was held at the Roslin Hotel in June.
The evening honoured those who have generously given their time and effort to make Southend-on-Sea a better place. Their short video capturing highlights of the evening will be screened on the Forum Big Screen between 10-11am and 5-6pm over the next couple months and is available to view on the SAVS YouTube channel and social media.
Stacey Pearson, a SAVS employee who helped to organise the event comments,

SAVS hope this is one of many opportunities to work with the talented students of Southend City College on projects supporting and promoting the local voluntary sector.

The students were professional with lots of positive comments during and after, which just shows we are providing learners to be work ready to the highest standards.
