What’s been happening at St Vincent’s Centre.

Springfield Allotment 2023

The sun shone brightly for a wonderful event on the 20th August 2023 at Springfield Allotment on Springfield Drive in Southend. We are so lucky to have allotments at this site, to grow fresh fruit and vegetables for our centre on Short Street. We recently organised a refugee allotment programme which allowed refugee families to come and take part in some community fun. The local community came out to support the fayre, it was an amazing atmosphere with everyone at the allotment coming together. One of the activities that was arranged for the children was the pig race which was a fan favourite. Both Children and parents cheered as each child willed their pig to make it past the finish line!!! Great FUN
