Information about the role

The post holder will support, design and deliver a range of health promotions services across Southend, Thurrock and support service delivery in Essex aimed at increasing awareness and access to sexual health testing and support services.

The role will require working closely with other professionals, organisations and stakeholders, as well as directly with local communities, to meet the needs of key target groups most at risk of poor sexual health and HIV outcomes.

The post holder will represent Terrence Higgins Trust and other partner organisations both in public and at professional networking events and meetings.

The post holder must have their own car and full drivers licence to fulfil the requirements of this role.

Terrence Higgins Trust was set up in 1982 following the death of its namesake Terry Higgins, who was one of the very first people to die of an AIDS-related illness in the UK. As an organisation we are always aiming to ensure we are always meeting the needs of people affected by HIV and poor sexual health.
