We are developing innovative recovery-focussed services in local communities across Southend, Castle Point and Rochford including Growing Together therapeutic gardens, REACH Recovery College, REACH Wellbeing Hubs, Youth Links and Carers Support. Mental health, wellbeing, recovery and the environment are at the heart of our inclusive approach.

Trust Links have just been awarded a long-term contract to continue to run and to grow the REACH Recovery College across south east Essex. REACH supports people with mental health problems to manage their own mental health through learning, empowerment and co-production. It develops self-management skills for people with mental health challenges through:

• learning and developing skills
• developing expertise in their mental health and their condition(s)
• developing personal skills
• identifying and reaching goals and aspirations

Sanctuary by Sea is a brand new service in Southend providing support for people in mental health crisis from 6 pm to 1 am throughout the year, overseen by Trust Links and run by national charity Choice Support.

We are seeking to recruit an Outreach Worker to work with Sanctuary by Sea clients as part of the REACH Wellbeing Hub.

Contract: Permanent contracts up to 37.5 hours per week, with flexible working arrangements by negotiation.
Salary: £24,000 – £28,000 pro rata per annum

The Outreach Worker is a unique role working across the new Sanctuary by Sea project and the REACH Wellbeing Hub. Working 11 am to 7 pm, you will work within the Wellbeing Hub to connect with a wide agencies, providing follow up support for people that have attended the Sanctuary in mental health crisis and a bridge between the two services.
