The Naval and Military Social Club was formed in 1920 by veterans of the First World War, as a place to socialise and support each other following their experiences in the ‘Great War’.

As the years have passed, those original members are no longer with us. However, their values of mutual support in a relaxing atmosphere still form one of the principles that underlies the running of this social club.

We welcome both serving and ex-service personnel and their families; indeed all members of the community who wish to enjoy the atmosphere in one of the town’s oldest social clubs.

We are located at  just along from the junction of Southend High Street and Pier Hill, heading towards Westcliff.
