The Art Ministry is a charity dedicated to providing affordable art and craft activities to people in south east Essex. By engaging in the creative process, they can make friends, boost their self-confidence, improve their self-esteem, and get involved with the local community in a caring environment.
We run weekly art and craft sessions for People across Essex including children and young people, with and without special needs; adults with learning difficulties; with physical disabilities (including recovering from stroke); who are partially sighted or blind; and adults and adults with mental health problems.
We complement these core activities with a general public art club, sessions at day care centres, schools, sheltered housing schemes and sessions for young carers. We also run community arts and crafts sessions at community events and take as many opportunities as we can to exhibit works.
