Book early for this FREE 1 hour training session provided by the Integrated Care Board Infection Prevention Control (IPC) team.
The training is aimed at providing a foundation for best practice in Infection Prevention and Control. The presentation is evidence based using the current national guidance and is suitable for people providing care in service users homes, to support them in delivering this safely and effectively.
The training content covers legislation, the chain of infection, standard infection prevention and control precautions and includes common infections that staff may encounter during the course their work.
The aim is to support staff with CQC registration requirements and achieve compliance with The Health and Social Care Act 2008: Code of Practice on the prevention and control of infections and related guidance.
For those working in Care settings – Care Homes and Nursing Homes (1.10 – 2.10pm)
