Published on: April 2, 2024

SAVS Community Builders, Eda Deramchia and Chiquitta Bruce have been working with the community of St Luke’s Ward and most recently, had the pleasure of visiting St Luke’s Community Hub.

The Hub offers a relaxed and inviting space for individuals of all ages and hosts a number of activities and classes throughout the week including, arts and crafts, friendship groups, counselling, cooking classes and more. It even has a free Gym!

Eda Deramchia said:

“It has been a real pleasure to visit St Luke’s Community Hub and to see the positive impact that this Hub provides for the local community. I got a warm and friendly welcome from the moment I walked in and it was lovely to speak to, and build relationships with, some of the residents of this ward. The community spirit is one thing that most people talk highly about in this Hub and how helpful and inspiring it has been to their lives.”

“The Community and Information Officer Jodie, has done an amazing job and is helping many people in the community. The residents talk very fondly and love what she has brought to the Hub and their community.”

If you live in St Luke’s Ward and are looking for a local community space with interesting & fun activities that supports friendships & fitness, then make sure you visit St Luke’s Hub in Cluny Square!
