STRM are delighted to announce the commencement of our new support service offer, starting from April 2024, coinciding with an office relocation to Benfleet. This move will enable STRM to offer enhanced support to the SEND communities in Southend, Castle Point, and Rochford. Despite the relocation, the charity remain fully committed to serving key areas and will continue to support registered families across various face-to-face and online locations.

What is pre-diagnosis, ‘while you are waiting’ and post-diagnosis Support?

At STRM, we believe in empowering your child, young person, and family to achieve their full potential by providing the necessary support for a great start. We can assist you by providing the following support:

• Information and support about money and benefits.
• Activities that can help you and your child in day-to-day life (for example, improving social and leisure activities or supporting learning at school).
• By connecting with our support groups and resources, you can become a part of a community of parent carers and broaden your knowledge of disabilities and neurodiversity.

Lastly, we want to help you look ahead and prepare for the future.

1^st Wednesday – Pre-Diagnosis and Post-Diagnosis Support Guest Talk Session

Venue: TheHub at the Megacentre Rayleigh

2^nd Friday – NEW Topic Talk Session

Venue: Community rotating venues are in the Southend, Castle Point, and Rochford districts. Indirock Southend, St Marys Church East Hall Southend, CAVS Canvey, St Marks Hall Rochford, STRM Head Office Benfleet.

3^rd Wednesday – Relaxed Coffee Morning

Venue: The Hub at the Megacentre Rayleigh

4^th Friday – Cost of Living Crisis Support Sessions
