An independently run and funded community of volunteers who bake cakes in our own homes for local families who find it difficult to provide a cake for their child. Our cakes are made with love and free of charge.
Using our skills as bakers, we help to build relationships, encourage volunteering, and make memories that last longer than a day.
Free Cakes For Kids is not just about the cakes, it simply uses cakes to bring happiness, and build self-esteem in both the baker and the families involved. It also gives the referring organisations a chance to offer a family in need a little “extra”, which their funding so often can’t stretch to provide.
