Little Heroes ASD Support Group, supports families of children with autism in and surrounding the Southend-on-Sea area. The families are welcome to participate from as soon as they realise there is an additional need, we do not require a formal diagnosis or referral – we attempt to remove barriers to ensure families can access our services when and as they need to.
Based at our very own support hub in Westcliff, we offer a range of daily activities to support the families on a face-to-face basis. As a parent led support group, we are reactive to the needs of the families and during term time we offer everything from stay and play sessions, parent/ carer support morning, counselling, workshops, and wellbeing activities. During the school holidays we arrange activities for the varying age groups of the children we support, this ensures that all families can stay connected throughout the full year.
