The Southend Branch was formed in 1988, although there has been a branch in the Southend area since 1974.
After Colchester, Basildon, and Brentwood branches closed, we changed our name to Southend & Essex Branch.
Transport can be arranged by Dial A Ride, or taxis.
London Road A13 bus route stops are only five minutes walk away.
SAVS is an independent charity known as a council for voluntary service or CVS. That means we work behind the scenes to help local charities and community groups achieve their full potential. We’ve been supporting not-for-profit groups in Southend for more than 30 years.
