Cake Club
Offers parenting support and solidarity in the Southend area. We run in person support and playgroups in a number of locations with something on offer nearly every day. As well has running a very active Facebook Page, “Cake Club – Parenting Support & Solidarity”.
You can meet other parents, socialise, access trained infant feeding and baby wearing support and so much more in a judgement free friendly space. Find your village – this one is ours. You will always be welcome.
| GROUPS & SERVICES: We run weekly support and playgroups in and around the Southend area. Most sessions combine the sling library and infant feeding support with a social and supportive playgroup; a community of like-minded parents coming together for tea, cake and chat. SLINGS-ON-SEA
The Slings-on-Sea sling library and consultancy works alongside Cake Club to offer in-person support to families in Southend, Rochford and Castle Point, and online support to everyone, wherever you may be. Sling support can be accessed at our Cake Club sessions as well as privately – consultations are held in Westcliff or can be arranged as a home visit. Individual tailored support and advice is available for all parents and carers who want to carry their children; we have a range of slings and carriers available for hire, suitable from new-born to toddler.
