Who Are We?
We are a very small congregation ranging in age from 30s to 80, with a fairly traditional taste in worship style and hymns, i.e. we do not have a band (no musicians!) and we use the Complete Mission Praise hymn book. Our morning attendance is usually between 6 and 10 and we have a very good, friendly, family feeling. You won’t be lost in a crowd. Everyone is valued, everyone is welcome. We are in a joint pastorate with the Cornerstone URC in Bournemouth Park Road, with whom we share a minister, the Rev Sohail Ejaz. He preaches at Southchurch Park on the first and third Sunday of the month.
We regret that we are unable to provide either a creche or Sunday school or any other form of children’s activities on Sundays due to lack of volunteers.
We have a Girls’ Brigade meeting on Wednesday evenings, at which boys are also welcome.
