SYMCA provides good education, outstanding accommodation, positive activities which further personal, social, cultural, and moral development and health, and wellbeing services. We work with children, young people, and families.
ALL IN MUSIC 3.0 for 2022/23
Free music opportunities for young people and the wider community. We provide equipment, tuition, and support to those looking to improve their skills, confidence, and wellbeing through music. No previous experience necessary.

Not only will we continue to offer free music sessions and tuition to disadvantaged youth in the Southend area, but we will also introduce a new facet to our project – the creation of a bespoke, quarterly Community Musician Programme. This programme will enable us to share our expertise and skills with outside practitioners and musicians in the community, to develop their skills and enable them to work effectively to put on live music with young people, share an understanding of mental health and music, work safely with vulnerable young people, implement technical skills and much more.
