There isn’t a typical member of Westcliff-on-Sea Women’s Institute (affectionately known as WoSWI). We come from all walks of life, from hoteliers, decorators, and teachers, to full-time mums, and those who have retired. What we do have in common is a dedication to having fun, enjoying the company of interesting and inspirational women, broadening our horizons, and occasionally indulging in the odd tipple.
Our interests cover a wide range of activities from crafts, culture, education, sport, and social. Members are encouraged to form sub-groups to pursue these interests.
We meet on the second Thursday of the month (except August) 8pm – 10pm (doors open from 7.30pm) at Pebbles Café, The Haven Community Hub, 138 Hamlet Court Road, Westcliff-on-Sea, SS0 7LW.

If you’d like to come along as a guest, just drop us an email in advance to check that guests can be accommodated at the next meeting. Guests are asked to consider a £5 voluntary contribution per meeting to cover our costs.
