The Young Person’s Drug and Alcohol Team is commissioned to provide treatment for substance misuse to young people under the age of 18.
YPDAT also provides service for young adults aged 18-21 years old with an established pathway to adult services, but will not be working with those who are misusing opiates and/or crack cocaine, or are alcohol dependent. Those will be referred to STARS Southend Treatment and Recovery Service (CGL) – Adult Services.
