About our Conference Room
Situated in the heart of Southend-on-Sea, The SAVS Conference Room is a modern, accessible and affordable space ideal for networking, meetings, conferences and training.
Our bright and spacious room can hold up to 50 people training, café or 30 boardroom style. It’s ideal for meetings, conferences, courses, presentations and workshops.
The room comes fully equipped with computer and audio visual equipment, including free wireless internet. We offer a range of catering options too.
About our Meeting Room
Our Meeting Room offers a welcoming and practical space for smaller gatherings in central Southend-on-Sea. Designed with comfort and accessibility in mind, it’s a great choice for team meetings, interviews, catch-ups, and informal training sessions.
With space for up to 12 people, the room is well-suited to focused discussions, planning meetings and small group work. It provides a professional setting without losing its warm and friendly feel.
The room includes Wi-Fi. Catering can also be arranged to help your meeting run smoothly.

Our Location
The SAVS Centre is located at the heart of Southend, just a three minute walk from Southend Central station (Fenchurch Street line) and a 12 minute walk from Southend Victoria station (Liverpool Street line).
The Travel Centre, which connects Southend with an extensive bus and coach network, is a three minute walk away.
If you’re coming by car, there are various council-run car parks in Southend, including one on Alexandra Street itself. There is also an NCP car park at Southend Central station.

Room Hire Pricing
Bookings for weekdays are charged at an hourly rate unless booked for the whole/half day, when that rate will apply. Weekday bookings that extend after 5pm are charged an hourly rate with a one off surcharge. Weekends are charged for a minimum of 4 hours plus a one off surcharge. However, our Meeting Room is not available for weekend or evening bookings.
Our Conference Room can accommodate up to 60 people, depending on your chosen layout. Our Meeting Room can fit a maximum of 12 people comfortably. The terrace area next to the Meeting Room is unavailable for use during your booking.
And because all revenue from room hire supports our work with local charities, you’ll not only get a great venue for your event – you’ll be helping the community too.

If we have availability, you can then submit your booking using our Online Room Booking Form.
Please note access to the building is from 8.30am and meetings are unable to start before 9,00am, due to time allowed for room set up. We are unable to offer evening bookings after 7pm.
