Provide support, advice and services to older people in Southend and the surrounding areas, as well as to the wider community.
We run a Dementia Day Centre and offer face to face and telephone befriending services to combat loneliness and isolation.
The Haven Community Hub.
The Haven Community Hub is a safe, welcoming place where people can socialise, join in with support and leisure groups and take part in activities to keep the body and the brain active.
The ground floor includes a café with indoor and outdoor seating, a nail and beauty artist, foot care clinic and other therapy treatments.
The first floor provides tutor led activities such as keep fit, yoga, tai chi, line dancing and an art group.
Other activities include falls prevention classes, IT support, crochet and knitting groups, chair yoga and pilates.
