We are a community led organisation dedicated to supporting South Asian young people through a wide range of cultural, creative, and physical activities. Our aim is to help them develop positively, grow confidently, and feel a strong sense of belonging within the wider society. We engage young people through structured programmes in dance, music, theatre, visual arts, and other creative disciplines. In addition, we provide opportunities for volunteering and community participation, enabling them to build essential life skills, and thrive in an inclusive environment.
SAVS is an independent charity known as a council for voluntary service or CVS. That means we work behind the scenes to help local charities and community groups achieve their full potential. We’ve been supporting not-for-profit groups in Southend for more than 30 years.
