Grassroots Westcliff Transforms Unloved Spot On Hamlet Court Road

Published on: April 24, 2024

Grassroots Westcliff, a recently formed community group, are on a mission to enhance Westcliff and build community spirit by building pocket parks in place of unloved spots dotted around the area.

On April 20th they transformed an unloved spot at the top of Hamlet Court Road by building wooden planters and planting them with drought tolerant shrubs that will look good all year round.

Chairperson Alan Hardiman stated:

“we are always looking to welcome new people to the group so we can make an even bigger difference.”
